My weekly update says " This week, your baby is busy shedding his downy coating of fine hair (called lanugo) and his coat of vernix caseosa -- the cheesy substance that protects his developing skin. Your baby swallows both of these secretions, which stay in the bowels until birth. Then your baby will excrete a blackish waste called meconium that becomes his first bowel movement. Meanwhile, you may be feeling huge -- and increasingly impatient."
Totally feeling like this baby could come anytime and I wouldn't mind. Have some fine tuning to do in the baby room, closet rod, some shelves and hooks and then we're all set! Just need to load up on more diapers. Think I might order this for the first week, seems like a good deal and offers two sizes in case it's a big baby! http://well.ca/products/pampers-swaddlers-welcome-pack_50519.html
Otherwise I'm just trying to kill time. Dave has been an amazing support by keeping up with house and yard work and getting me things when I don't feel like getting up, which is most of the time. We've also brought inside one of the zero gravity chairs which is amazing when my back hurts, totally takes the pressure of my back and ribs. I've been crocheting for us, Lindsay and some other people who have babies on the way, so that's kinda fun. Have hemmed curtains, made a crib sheet and a crib skirt. Loving having sewing machine! So does Dave cause I can fix all his stuff.
Anyways, Doctors appointment today, and I'm sure he'll say what he always does "Wow your blood pressure is low! Oh wait it's always like that so it's normal" ha it's so funny, he totally doesn't know who I am. Last appointment I was up 14 lbs which was two weeks ago so we'll see what today says.
Here's your bump pic!
